The Bioencapsulation Research Group (BRG) is an international non-profit scientific association dedicated to advancing bioencapsulation and microencapsulation technologies. What Is Bioencapsulation?

Bioencapsulation involves the immobilization and protection of biological or active materials—such as cells, enzymes, drugs, nutrients, or microorganisms— within protective matrices or microcapsules. These technologies enable improved stability, controlled release, protection of sensitive compounds, and enhanced performance.
