What Is Bioencapsulation?

Bioencapsulation involves protecting biological and active materials, such as cells, enzymes, nutrients, drugs, and microorganisms, within specialized matrices or microcapsules. These technologies help improve stability, enable controlled release, and enhance performance across food, pharmaceutical, agricultural, cosmetic, and other applications.
