28th International Conference on Bioencapsulation
Welcome to the 28th International Conference on Bioencapsulation, taking place from 29 September to 1 October 2027 in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Hosted in collaboration with the National Institute of Industrial Technology (INTI) and the Secretariat of Industry, Commerce and SMEs – Ministry of Economy of Argentina the conference will bring together researchers, academics, industry professionals, and experts from around the world to share the latest advances in bioencapsulation.
The scientific program will explore emerging technologies, innovative applications, sustainability, and industrial developments in the field. Through scientific sessions, presentations, and networking opportunities, the conference will provide a dynamic platform for exchanging knowledge, building collaborations, and creating new connections between academia and industry.
We look forward to welcoming you to Buenos Aires for three days of science, innovation, collaboration, and international exchange.
Programme Overview
Scientific Sessions
Connecting Encapsulation Science with Practical Applications
Explore encapsulation systems for food, pharmaceutical and agricultural applications, from the selection of materials and production processes to the characterisation and performance of the final systems.
Drawing on the proposed invited talks, scientific topics are expected to include:
- Electrohydrodynamic techniques for encapsulating active agents and producing non-conventional liposomes.
- Encapsulation for food applications.
- Nanoparticles and nanofibres for controlled-release pharmaceutical systems.
- Lignin and other polymer-based materials, including their potential and the challenges of designing and characterising encapsulation systems.
- Electrospinning for sustained-release pharmaceutical applications.
